This is my first book to read by Felicia Rogers and I must say I really enjoyed it. I like her style of writing, there is no unnecessary wording. It is the story of Trevor Jacobs a navy seal who returns home after losing a leg in a military excursion. He is filled with uncontrollable anger if anyone stares at him. Searching for peace, his counselor tells him of a dream he had of a certain woman who could help him. When he finds Janie, she has been burned, has scars and is full of fears. So she has secluded herself in her small hometown. Together they help and complete one another. There is suspense, mystery, love and an unexpected ending. Although there were a couple of “steamy ” kissing scenes for a christian novel, it has christian values. A great read. I am looking forward to reading more of her books.
