Flee from Evil (Water’s Edge Book 1) by Connie Almony

Standard

This is a fantastic read, a very powerful story. A story of forgiveness and healing from past hurts….Cassandra who has lost her husband (the son of wealthy parents, who disown her and her children) has moved back home to live with her mother, with her teenage daughter and young son,who is autistic. Vince, a man who deceived and used her in the past and has issues of his own, is the pastor of the church where her mother attends. A man with a criminal and immoral past who has found forgiveness and in turn helps others to find God. Cass is shocked speechless when she finds the man she hated for so long is the pastor, and knows she must keep her secret from him. The story deals with the kidnapping of the teenage daughter by a lowlife because he believes Cassandra has money. Vince is in the middle through out, although Cass resents him so. This is such a good book about love and forgiveness. I feel honored to have been given this book to read and give a review. Looking forward to book number two.
