Better than Fiction: (A Contemporary Christian Women’s Fiction/Historical Romance) by Michelle Massaro (Author),

Standard

This is my first book to read by Michelle Massaro and also April W Gardner, but it won’t be my last. Such an interesting book that is like reading two novels at one time. One takes place in 1916 in Carona, California and about the Carona Races.  The other is in modern times.  The history of the days of motor car racing was very interesting and of all things we have a woman mechanic who is working trying to pay off her irresponsible, long gone brother’s debt..Fred is trying to keep everything  hidden from  her mother and keep the bills paid.   All the time facing danger to herself from her brother’s creditor.   First time author,Megan, who tries to finish and pitch her novel and manage her household while sensing that her husband is tired of her and is having an affair. She attracts the attention of a fellow church member and they both face much temptation.  How will Meghan handle all this. She uses her experiences in her marriage  to develop her characters in her racing novel.   All is well that ends well. You will love this book.    Thanks for the honor to read and review from the authors.
