A Lady Unrivaled (Ladies of the Manor Book #3) by Roseanna M. White

Standard

The finale to the Ladies of the Manor series shows White’s ability to write great Edwardian romances.  The story centers around Lady Ella Myerston who was seen briefly in The Lost Heiress and we got to know her more in The Reluctant Duchess.  Also Lord James Cayton, a widower  who is known as a rogue who breaks the hearts of the women who love him.      Lady Ella is a happy full of life rather naive, sheltered red headed sister of the Duke of  Nottingham.  She hopes to unravel the mystery of the Fire Eyes diamonds in order to keep further harm from coming to her family.  She is doing her research while visiting her friends the Duke and Duchess of Stafford.      Then along comes the long time enemy into their midst, Rushworth and his sister Catherine. His sole purpose is to once again try and get possession of the fire eyes. Even if he has to commit murder to obtain them. When the  untrustworthy Lord Rushworth shows an interest in Ella and the Fire Eyes, Cayton will do whatever he can to keep her safe, even though he feels unworthy of her.  Also his beloved daughter and staff. You will find lots of suspense and mystery plus romance in this novel. With commitment to the faith shown to be above all…….. I received a copy of this book from Bethany House Publishers in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.                        A Lady Unrivaled (Ladies of the Manor Book #3) by [White, Roseanna M.]
