A Love Transformed (Sapphire Brides) by Tracie Peterson

Standard

This story is well written and has a well plotted and really interesting story that keeps a reader on his toes…… Clara Vesper has just learned that her husband, Adolph has been murdered.  Clara is stunned–but not grief-stricken. Her marriage to Adolph had been arranged by her domineering mother who appears on the scene as soon as she hears of his death. Ready to arrange another marriage for her. Also his identical twin has already proposed marriage to her.  So Clara takes her twin children and flees to Montana where she spent part of her childhood, to her uncle’s sheep ranch. Upon arrival she finds her past love whom she hoped to marry, before her mother whisked her away to marry into society. He has been injured and no longer feels the way she does. Clara lets him know that she still loves him and always has.
I loved to see how the love between Curtis and Clara rekindles and how they slowly find their way back to each other. There is danger, kidnapping, suspense, murder and so much more in this romantic read. ……I was given a complimentary copy from Bethany for my unbiased review.
