Love’s Eternal Breath: Historical Christian Romance (Eagle Harbor Book 4) by Naomi Rawlings

Standard

This is my first book to read in the Eagle Harbor series, although I have read other books by the author. She has a way with words that brings the scenery and characters to life.
I loved the historical accounts of the medical practices of that day.  The heroine Lindy , a sweet giving person who bears the many scars of “bloodletting”  on her arms, because she suffers from asthma. Her mother died from complications of this disease. This no doubt came from these unorthodox treatment of  the doctors of that day. All of this has given Lindy a great fear and mistrust of doctors. Enters Dr. Seth Harrington, the newest(and better educated) doctor in this small town, who only wants what is best for Lindy and all of the people who will let him treat them.
There are so many twists, turns, disasters and even disease related deaths in this book.  Through it all common sense and trust in God prevails.  Yes….. and Lindy and Seth find true love and Lindy loses her fear of Doctors when she sees Seth’s only desire is to let God heal through him                                                                                                                                                  I was given a copy to read and review and was happy to do so.                                                                                                                       Love's Eternal Breath: Historical Christian Romance (Eagle Harbor Book 4) by [Rawlings, Naomi]
