The Priority Unit (Maine Justice Book 1) by Susan Page Davis

Susan Page Davis has written a most interesting book that will have you turning pages into the night.. Her characters are real to life and you feel like you are right there with them……..Harvey Larson is a police detective with the Portland, Maine police department, the Priority Unit.  Harvey has lived alone since his wife left him over 10 years ago, hoping somehow they could be reconciled, never giving up hope and wondering, what could he have done differently.  He is called to investigate the disappearing of a computer programmer and there he meets Jennifer and instantly feels a strong attraction to her. She is beautiful in a unadorned way, but he knows she is much too young for him. Days go by and no leads on the disappearance of Dunham and Harvey cannot forget this young lady who was the first to interest him in ten years……then a break comes, Dunham’s car was found. Harvey gets a chance to go back to Coastal for more questioning and the chance to see Jennifer again. ….then later his body is found, more questioning. He gathers up enough nerve to ask Jennifer out for lunch, and begins falling for her in spite of their age difference……Someone is out to kill Harvey , but why and who?  Is there a connection to Coastal and Nick Dunham’s murder?  Is Jennifer in danger, where will it all end?  Lots of suspense, mystery, bombings, murder and yes ……love and romance. You will love this book………                                                                                                                                                                                                                            The Priority Unit (Maine Justice Book 1) by [Davis, Susan Page]
